Sand and slurry pumps
Tsurumi designs a comprehensive range of sand and slurry pumps for heavy-duty applications. All models are equipped with a powerful agitator for mixing of settled matter with water. A vast motor range allows for many possible applications.
Agitator
Tsurumi sand and slurry pumps are equipped with a chromium iron agitator that creates downforce agitation for mixing settled matter with water for transporting.
Side discharge
Models equipped with side discharges provide additional durability in abrasive applications. In combination with our 4-pole motors, these pumps are especially suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Top discharge
The top discharge, flow-thru design provides maximum motor cooling efficiency allowing continuous operation at low water levels and extended dry-run capability. Depending on the applications, this feature provides additional safety for customers.
Motors
Tsurumi sand and slurry pumps are equipped with a wide range of motors from 2 to 6 poles. Although all pumps are designed for heavy duty applications, we recommend using higher pole motors e.g. 4 or 6 for when dry matter is 25%.
