Tsurumi Europe has acquired its Spanish and Portuguese dealerships, giving the company direct access to customers in these two markets. The two dealerships will continue to operate under their current names but will be wholly-owned subsidiaries of Tsurumi. The deal marks the latest dealership acquisition from Tsurumi, which currently operates directly in France, Sweden and Germany. The company now offers direct sales in five countries.

A team of aerators and an ejector system from Tsurumi are providing efficient and maintenance-free service at a water-treatment plant in Tyumen City, Russia. The plant, which provides clean drinking water for thousands of people, was suffering from regular shutdowns and rising costs caused by blockages. But the Tsurumi pumps have got things back on track.

Tsurumi pumps are working at a major inner city tunnel project in Stockholm, Sweden. The pumps were added to the underground project to replace another manufacturer's pumps after the project experienced delays.

Global pump manufacturer Tsurumi will highlight the strength and endurance of its products at IFAT 2012, the world's largest water industry event. The company will showcase its products through live demonstrations and exhibits. Leading the company's display will be a 1.2 tonne slurry pump and a 31 year old pump that is still being used in the rental market.

Tsurumi, one of the world's leading submersible pump manufacturers, has created a YouTube channel to showcase its products online.
