The problem:
Due to construction works, a wastewater channel must be relocated and the wastewater must be pumped to another location during this period. The wastewater pumps of various makes were clogging up, due to the very high solids content, and they had to be dismounted for cleaning several times each week.
The solution:
Through the use of the pump type 100C47.5 with a cutting mechanism, clog-free pumping is guaranteed. The cutting up of the occurring solids, such as for instance hygiene articles, feces, etc., prevents blocking of the impeller and guarantees high operational security.
