The project:
The mud streams that occur during gravel washing are bound by means of a flocculent substance and are then pumped into filtration chamber presses with a lime additive.

The problem:
Due to the high solids content, the medium that has to be pumped is extremely abrasive and causes extensive wear-and-tear.
The solution:
Since 2009, our wear-resistant pump GPN-100 has been used. The relevant wear-and-tear parts, such as the impeller and the wear plate, are exchanged only once each year.
