The Problem:
The 2975 m long tunnel is being cut using mining methods. After the snow melted, the water incidence in the tunnel suddenly rose to a maximum of 20 litres/second. The medium was made highly abrasive by its slurried stone content.
The Solution:
Massive drainage pump of types KTZ411 and KTZ611 (11kW) transport water over a distance of 500m to 1000m. The KTZ series is the perfect contractors' pump due to its good performance. The replacement of wearing parts is very simple. After training by qualified Tsurumi staff, all maintenance can be done independently on site.
