The problem:
The fluctuating accumulation of the sludge water from the Katzenberg Tunnel advance is collected in intermediate tanks. The accumulating process water should be pumped into the water treatment plant using submersible pumps.
The solution:
Tsurumi series KTZ contractors' pumps were chosen due to their reliability. Continuous, non-stop operation with high concentrations of sediment is possible with Tsurumi contractors' pumps, securing the operation of the water treatment plant.
