A stone quarry in Germany faced the task of relocating water, essential to its operations, from an intermediate sump to the ultimate discharge point. The problem

The challenge of this particluar application was the long distance of 400 meters as well as the medium, water loaded with sand, a very abrasive combination.

The solution

KRS65.5 is a heavy duty pump which can handle abrasive medium easily. Additional benefit in this case was the capability of dry installation/booster which allowed for perfect efficiency and excellent longevity.
